Anyone else have an amazing chili recipe?
I have like 5.
I usually cant repeat the same one, because I always kinda wing it.
I really like this one in particular. It had chicken, and taco seasoning, and fresh corn, off of the cob...
I can't really give you a written recipe, because I don't have one. Its VERY loosely based off of something I found on Pinterest like 3 years ago.
But here are some step by step pictures, and you can try and follow along and let me know if you have any questions :)
(The last time we had a party, it was gone. I mean gone gone. I didn't even get ONE bite!!)
A dog and his girl, some crafts, cooking, and a whole lot of nonsense...

What to feed a toddler?
You might ask yourself how I got such a happy toddler on this particular day. Truth be told, I didn't. He was seriously angry pants at me most of the morning. And then he got hungry. Jax has gotten to an age where when he is hungry, he means now...not in 5 minutes when you can warm it up, and certainly not in 30 minutes when you can actually make him something nutritious...NOW.
I'm learning.
So the night before he was to come over this time, I stayed up and made him homemade mac N cheese. I LOOOVE mac N Cheese, and Chris hates it, because he is a weirdo. Anyway, I love with Jackson comes over because its an excuse to make it, so I did.
So I'm boiling my pasta, and I'm thinking, which is rare...so I thought I'd listen to what I was thinking. And I'm thinking, this kid LOVES Mac N Cheese! I would eat ANYTHING I mixed in with it!.
Leftover turkey meatballs! Yes! That goes perfect with Mac N Cheese!
Peas? Yes! Perfect!Squash! Yes...well I was pushing my limits here. He ate them, but started to pick the squash out. I think if I had peeled it first, he would have never known!
So, that's my attempt at getting an entire, mostly healthy meal into a 17 month old.
He ate 2 and 1/2 bowl fulls without coming up for air, so I guess I did something right!

Oscar's favorite freezer meal!
Since my old blogs had a lot of craftiness and cooking, you can bet this one will too...I'll just throw in a pic of the dog and then call it a day.
This is possibly one of the easiest, healthiest things we make in this house. It can be done for as few or as many people and you want, and can be made in a billion variations, I'm sure.
I go to BJ's and buy steak or chicken and cut it into cubes and marinate in teriyaki because that's our favorite, but again, do whatever you want!
Then I wash, and cut squash, zucchini, and sugar snap peas.
I throw all of the meat, veggies, and some extra teriyaki into a zip lock freezer bag, and then that bag into another bag just to be safe.
I usually make 2 or 3 of them each time I go to BJ's, and then I can pop one out of the freezer any time I feel like a quick and easy dinner. I dump the whole thing into a wok-type frying pan with a lid and just cook it until the meat is done. Sometimes I serve it over noodles or rice, sometimes we just eat it plain!
And the dog watches, patiently waiting for me to throw him a piece of steak...yeah right.
